Is AI Replacing Anointing?

At the dawn of creation, God breathed into Adam, and he became a living soul. From Adam, God took bone, and formed Eve. His desire was to have a people to commune with. A people who would choose by their own will to seek His face, and fellowship with Him. Adam and Eve were accustomed to hearing God’s voice. He visited with them daily.

“And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.” (Genesis 3:8)

After their fall into sin, they no longer enjoyed that sweet communion. God, however, has always made a way for people who seek Him in sincerity to fellowship with Him. Both speaking, and hearing from Him. Through the millennia, most of humanity has run from, railed at, mocked or simply ignored the Voice, Spirit and Word  of God. But a precious few in every generation have sought Him.

People like David, the sweet psalmist of Israel, who sought His presence and composed anointed psalms while tending his father’s sheep.

People like Abram who heard the voice of the Lord calling him out of an idolatrous land to a land of promise.

People like Noah who received detailed blueprints to build an ark which saved his family through a global flood.

People like Daniel who prayed three times a day, for whom God shut the mouths of lions, and revealed endtime prophecy.

People like the prophets and apostles who wrote what they heard in prayer so that we can have the Bible we study today.

People like John who communed with God while imprisoned on the Isle of Patmos, and wrote the Revelation of Jesus Christ as God presented it to Him.

These, and so many others, sought the Lord in the most pressing, dangerous and volatile situations, and were faithful to write what God communicated to them.

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21)

The great Apostle Paul wrote two-thirds of the New Testament that we read today while he faithfully sought the mind of God in the most brutal circumstances.

“Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.” (2 Corinthians 11:24-28)

ENTER ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

There is a danger that has sneaked subtly into our daily lives. The Trojan Horse of AI. It has been marketed and promoted as a helpful tool, and so it can be. We like to think we are smarter than it. We’re not. It is an ever-learning computer program that computes and compiles information at rates faster than all the world’s scientists put together, and it is amassing information at an alarming speed. We like to think we have control of it. We don’t. It is firmly intrenched in every area of our lives, collecting information, and making choices for us around the clock.

WHERE’S THE LINE?

It may sound like I’m against AI. I’m not. I like convenience as much as the next person. I’m simply suggesting that the Church must push back and draw a line against AI’s encroachment into holy things. It has become so normal to use AI in every area of our lives that many are substituting it for true anointing. Studying, preaching, teaching and even writing whole books can now be done by a few key strokes with no one the wiser.

A LITTLE EXPERIMENT

I asked ChatGPT to compose a poem about the Oneness of God in Jesus Christ. In less than two seconds after pushing the enter button, this masterpiece was delivered to me:

IN JESUS, ONE DIVINE by ChatGPT

In silent depths beyond the skies,
Where holy light and mystery rise,
There dwells a truth forever bright—
God’s oneness shines in sacred light.

No shadow parts the radiant whole,
No fragment mars the holy soul,
For God in Christ is fully known,
The Father’s heart and Spirit shown.

The Word made flesh, in humble birth,
Brought heaven’s peace upon the earth,
A holy flame, both pure and true,
In Jesus Christ, God’s face breaks through.

No veil divides, no power can sever,
The sacred bond that lasts forever—
One God, one love, one holy grace,
Revealed in Christ’s embracing face.

Without question, these words are beautiful and pristine…yet, completely without emotion or anointing. Is that what God has called us to?

WHAT SHOULD BE THE STANCE OF THE CHURCH?

We should not desire this. This should bring us to our knees in repentance. We should seek the Lord’s face and His anointing before technology. Sadly, people will read this poem, and share it again and again. Yet if a man or woman of God writes or speaks words a Holy God has placed in their hearts, they sit on a shelf gathering dust.

What has our society come to? We are in a dangerous place. What is the tipping point when humanity won’t be able to tell the difference between AI and Anointing…or even care? I dare say we have arrived, and many can’t tell the difference even now.

A HOLY MADATE

Man or Woman of God, you have a commission and unction from the Holy One to seek His face as holy men and women of old did.

Are you using AI to write your Sunday sermons and midweek Bible studies? Are you doing so without spending time in dedicated prayer, fasting and Bible study? This is a disgrace to  every man and woman of God who has sought the Lord with sweat and tears through the millennia. God has called His people to be in relationship with Him. Anointed messages, lessons, books, songs and testimonies naturally flow from this RELATIONSHIP.

A USEFUL TOOL

You may ask, “Can I use AI at all? Artificial Intelligence should be viewed and used as a helpful tool. Using AI demands being honest with ourselves. Are we tempted to use it for more than a help? I mean, no one would actually know that beautifully crafted Pentecost Sunday message wasn’t straight from God’s heart to yours. The congregation would be blessed. You would look super spiritual. It would be a win/win situation…Or would it?

Don’t ministers of the Gospel owe more than the push of a few buttons to Jesus’ sacrifice, as well as all those who have poured out their lives to bring God’s Word from generation to generation? Isn’t His Word worth a bit of self sacrifice, and spiritual sensitivity. Shouldn’t we pull away from the flash and whirl of the world for a space, and give ourselves to seeking the Mind of Christ? Machines can’t do that. They might be efficient, but they don’t actually feel. AI might be exciting, but it’s not anointed.

Do you need an outline? Bullet Points? A list of facts on a certain subject? There’s probably no harm in that IF you can trust yourself to set up well-defined parameters. Can you? The answer lies within you, Man or Woman of God.

”Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

Are We Witnessing The Rise Of The False Prophet?

The Bible prophecies a coming spiritual leader called the false prophet who will promote a political leader called the antichrist in the years just prior to Jesus’ return to set up His earthly kingdom. These two will form an unholy union of church and state, thus controlling the final world government of the end time. This spiritual leader will no doubt be extremely well known, and will preside over the false end time church. God’s true church is described as a chaste virgin without spot or wrinkle, His Bride. This woman, however, is described as ‘the great whore.’  She is not pure, not holy and not godly.

 

IDENTIFYING THE FALSE END TIME CHURCH

In order to properly identity the false prophet, we must first identify the false church over which he will preside. We can accomplish this by studying these clues which God gave us in Revelation chapter seven:

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:” (Revelation 17:1)

The false end time church is called the great whore. She is promiscuous, defiled, and not true to her groom. What dominant religion in the world today has usurped authority over the true church of the Book of Acts, teaching contrary to the Oneness of God, even to the point of issuing decrees making it illegal to carry out biblical baptisms in Jesus’ name?

“And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” (Revelation 17:15)

The false end time church sits upon ’many waters.’ Verse fifteen interprets the meaning of this phrase. The waters are multitudes of people from various nations and languages. What dominate religion in the world today has 1.4 billion constituents around the world?

”And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:“ (Revelation 17:4)

What religion in the world today is recognized by its high ranking leadership of bishops wearing purple, and its cardinals wearing red? What religion also is noted to be the wealthiest in the world, having amassed and stored treasure troves of riches in private vaults from all over the world? Which religion speaks of holiness, but has consistently permitted, and excused heinous deeds against God’s law and true believers?

And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.” (Revelation 17:5)

What religion in the world today has birthed countless daughter churches, who had their beginning by protesting against their mother church, but are now being called back into the fold of ecumenicalism?

”And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.” (Revelation 17:6)

What so called Christian religion in the world today persecuted and killed the true followers of Jesus because they would not forsake the Acts 2:38 New Birth message the apostles taught? What religion is known in our history books for initiating the Dark Ages?

“And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” (Revelation 17:18)

What religion in the world today is based in a city surrounded by, and actually known as The City On Seven Hills?


IN SUMMARY

Two thousand years ago, the great apostle John painted a very vivid picture of this false church. She promotes herself as the true church of Jesus Christ, but she lives in complete opposition to truth, even to the point of teaching false doctrine, and persecuting true believers.

She influences people groups all across the world from every nation and language.

She is recognized by her leadership of bishops wearing purple, and her cardinals wearing scarlet. She is rich beyond measure, holding priceless treasures in her vaults from nations around the world, even Jerusalem, the City of the Great God, as depicted on the Arch of Titus.

She is considered the Mother Church of all Protestant daughter churches who were birthed by “protesting” her false doctrines, thereby initiating the Reformation.

Through the centuries, she has persecuted, even to martyrdom, true believers of the Christian faith. These precious souls sought refuge in nations across the world, and even beneath ground in what we know as the catacombs. Still, they were hunted, tortured, burned at the stake and murdered, all in the name of God.

She is based in the city of Rome which is literally called The City of Seven Hills. These hills are named Palatine, Quirinal, Viminal, Esquiline, Capitoline, Aventine and Caelian.

 

IDENTITY OF THE FALSE END TIME CHURCH AND IT’S LEADER

There is no religion but one in the world today which fits all of these clues perfectly. That religion is the Roman Catholic Church based in Rome, Italy. Who is the highest in leadership of Roman Catholicism? It is, of course, the newly elected (as of May 8, 2025) Pope Leo XIV. We cannot, at this time, say whether the current Pope is the prophecied false prophet. We can, however, with full confidence say whoever is Pope of the Roman Catholic Church at the time the antichrist comes into political power will most certainly fill the role of the false prophet. Together, these two men will preside over the final world government and world religious system right up until Jesus returns to set up His earthly Kingdom.

The Dream I Live For

Years ago, I had a dream…or a vision…I can’t remember which. Nevertheless, it is still as fresh and real in my mind as it was back then.

I was standing on a platform/stage area, and was teaching a large auditorium full of people. They were all ages and nationalities. Every one of them was sitting Indian-style on the floor, listening very intently to what I was saying.

There was lush greenery all around. I don’t know all of the plants, but it seems many were palm trees and ferns. Everything else was white -the floor, walls, podium, and the long, white robe I wore. There were no lights of any kind. Rather, emanating from everywhere, was light so pure that it seemed to pulsate life itself.

Even my hair was pure white. The only other colors in the vast auditorium were the varying skin tones of the congregation’s faces and hands.

I wasn’t thinking about what I looked like, or sounded like. There was no second guessing my subject material or presentation. No feelings of anxiety or insecurity. I remember the feeling of being perfectly healthy and whole in both my body and mind. I spoke with godly confidence. I wasn’t learning anymore. I knew.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. (1 Corinthians 13:12)

When I woke, I knew that the dream/vision was in Jerusalem. It was after the Rapture of the Church. I was teaching masses of people who had not been Raptured with the Church, and had come through the Wrath of God at the end of the Tribulation period. I was teaching them God’s ways. There would be peace for 1,000 years before satan “must be loosed a little season.”

I live for the fulfillment of this dream. I live for the time when I am in my resurrected body. This dream causes me to live in a way in the here and now so that I will obtain what He so graciously showed me. If I’m going to teach during the Millennium, I’d best get to teaching now.

If you believe that everything you do, say or learn while you are in your mortal body will affect the role you will play during those 1,000 years and beyond, what conscious decisions are you making toward that end? They all matter.

And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:2-4)

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:12-13)

What Is The Great Tribulation?

Many Christians avoid the topic of the Great Tribulation either because they don’t understand it, or because they think they won’t be here for it. Their thinking is that if they aren’t going to have to endure it, there’s no reason to concern themselves with it. FIRST, you CAN understand it, and God described it in His Word, so He wants you to understand it. SECOND, the Church WILL be here for it. (I’ll just leave this right here for an upcoming post.)

WHAT IS IT?

The Tribulation is a time period which will lead up to the Battle of Armageddon, and the return of Jesus Christ to gather His Saints/Elect/Church. It will be a time of severe persecution of the Jewish people, and yes, even the Church. To get an idea of the scope of persecution, research the Holocaust, and know that Jesus said it would be worse.

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” (Matthew 24:21)

WHAT IS ITS PURPOSE?

In Daniel chapter 9, the prophet is given revelation concerning 70 weeks of years (a 490 year period whereby God determined to accomplish some things. He tells us what those things are in verse 24:

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.“ (Daniel 9:24)

  1. To finish the transgression
  2. To make an end of sins
  3. To make reconciliation for iniquity
  4. To bring in everlasting righteousness
  5. To seal up the vision and prophecy
  6. To anoint the most Holy

One week of the seventy has yet to be fulfilled. That is a week of years, or a seven year period. The Church is waiting for this seven year period to begin. It is during this last seven years that the above things will be accomplished. This time period is going to wrap everything up that needs to be completed before Jesus is anointed King of kings and Lord of lords, and sets up His earthly 1,000 year millennial kingdom.

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

If asked, most people would say that the Great Tribulation will last for seven years. This, however, is not backed by scripture. While there will be a seven year period of time that leads up to the Battle of Armageddon and the return of Jesus to gather His Church, the Tribulation will only be during the second half of the “week of years,” or the final 3 and 1/2 years.

It is in the middle of the week (of years) that the antichrist will cause the daily sacrifices to stop, and will commit the abomination of desolation by standing in the newly built Jewish Temple, and claiming to be God. (their long-awaited Messiah) This incident is what will trigger the Great Tribulation. Up until this point there will have been pseudo peace for the first 3 and 1/2 years.

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.“ (Daniel 9:27)

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.“ (Matthew 24: 15-21)

 

TIMING IS EVERYTHING

As we have seen, the Tribulation begins in the middle of the final seven years. We can verify the length of the Tribulation by comparing the variations of wording to describe the last half of the week.

Time, and Times, and Half a Time

“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.” (Revelation 12:14)

Time is one year. Times is two years, and half a time is half a year. We see the same description of a 3 and 1/2 year Tribulation period. *NOTE* The woman in this scripture is the collective Jewish West Bank settlers who are mentioned as “them which be in Judaea” above in Matthew 24:15-21.

42 Months

”But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.“ (Revelation 11:2)

“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.“ (Revelation 13:5)

1,260 Days

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.” (Revelation 11:3)


IN CONCLUSION

Whether the Tribulation is described as Time, and Times, and Half a Time, or Forty-Two Months, or 1,260 days, it is obvious that it is referring to a three and one-half year period of time. As we also saw, this period of time begins in the middle of the week when the antichrist  steps into the newly built Jewish Temple, declaring himself to be God, or their Messiah.

At this point, the seven year Jewish/Muslim peace agreement that was instituted by the world government, will be broken, and terrible persecution will break out upon the Jewish people.

This three and one-half year Tribulation period is just ahead. If you are reading this, there is every reason to believe that you will live to see it. Still, you might be thinking that you’re not Jewish, so why should you be concerned? I will cover this question in detail in an upcoming post, but I’ll leave you with this one scripture:

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.“ (Revelation 12:17)

After the antichrist, possessed by satan, sends his initial onslaught against the Jewish people, in his rage, he will then send tribulation out into the rest of the world to persecute Christians in whatever nations he can. It remains to be seen how much authority he will have over the United States of America. (And that is for a future post;) One thing is for certain. It is time to trust God, more than we ever have before.

What Will It Take For You To Live For God?

My heart is so absolutely burdened for people who refuse to turn to God in repentance. I have seen people I love go through sickness almost unto death. Bizarre illnesses that I refuse to believe are only coincidences. Life threatening injuries. I have interceded in prayer, and the Lord has been merciful over and over again.

A worldwide pandemic, riots in the major cities of America, the most destructive weather events ever recorded, prophecies being fulfilled left and right…How much more do you need to see and experience before you turn to the Lord in true repentance?

If you think it’s going to get easier, it won’t. If you think there will be a more convenient time, there won’t. If you think you’ll have the fortitude to turn to the Lord when all Hell breaks loose, even though you refuse to now, you won’t. If you think that you will find a loophole in order to be exempt from judgement, you won’t.

“If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?” (Jeremiah 12:5)

I beg you with tears in my eyes, and intercession on my lips, please turn to God. Please repent. Please fall on the Rock and be broken, before He falls on you, and grinds you to powder.

“And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” (Luke 20:17-18)

Do you truly believe that your way is better than His? No good can come from resisting His Will for your life. He loves you with a love deeper than you’ve ever known. True love. True peace. True salvation. True hope. True life. Why wouldn’t you want that?

Lions & Leopards & Bears…Oh, My!

The book of Revelation can be down right scary. Am I right?! All of those dreadful beasts with multiple heads, and mixed up body parts. CA-REEEPY!

I just want you to know that if you’re waiting for these literal beasts to show up on the earth before you get right with God, it’s not going to happen. That’s because the books of Revelation, Daniel and Ezekiel  use IMAGERY. All of those freakish animals described in these books of the Bible represent NATIONS, WORLD SYSTEMS (Political, Financial, Religious) AND WORLD LEADERS.

As a young person, I was so turned off by politics. This is more than ironic, since I grew up in a political family. I was one of those young adults who couldn’t figure out why we couldn’t just all get along. Peace and Harmony…Ebony and Ivory, and all that. Not realizing that God is all up in politics.

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” (Daniel 2:20-21)

 

Here is a short list of beasts/animals in the prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation, and what they represent:

DANIEL, CHAPTER SEVEN

  • LION -Great Britain
  • EAGLE’S WINGS -America
  • LEOPARD -Germany
  • BEAR -Russia

 

FOUR HORSEMEN of REVELATION, CHAPTER SIX

  • White Horse -Catholicism
  • Red Horse -Communism
  • Black Horse -Capitalism 
  • Pale Horse -Islamism (The original word is Chloros/Green.)


REVELATION, CHAPTER THIRTEEN

  • BEAST WITH SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS -The final World Government that will control the whole world just before Jesus returns. It will be a combined Political and Religious system. Under this world system, the Mark of the Beast will be required to participate in commerce.
  • The ultimate leader of this system is also called the BEAST, and ANTICHRIST. The leader of the world religious system is called the FALSE PROPHET.

 

OTHER EXAMPLES OF IMAGERY

  • SERPENT/DRAGON -Satan/Devil
  • LAMB -We shouldn’t have any problem understanding that the LAMB represents our Savior, JESUS CHRIST, who came to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.

Hopefully this list, even though it is not all inclusive, will help you to understand the prophetic books of the Bible better. Hopefully, it will help to alleviate some of your unnecessary fear. Hopefully, it will draw you into the Word of God more often, if you have been avoiding studying endtime events. Hopefully, this list will help you to understand the need to educate yourself on what is happening in the world around you. Hopefully, it will help you to realize that God is all up in politics, and we should be too.

WAKE UP! It’s Later Than It’s Ever Been.

One day when I was a young girl, I woke up and walked out of my bedroom, and immediately sensed something different in my home. I didn’t know what it was, but everything felt strange. The atmosphere. The light coming in the windows. My family was acting strangely, not going about their normal morning routines. They were all sitting around the tv watching evening shows. I was extra hungry. Everything was just off.

I had put on my clothes like normal, and headed to the kitchen for breakfast. My mom gave me a peculiar look, and said something to the affect of, “Well, there’s not much use in getting dressed now. It’s almost time to go to bed.”

I’m not sure of the rest of the conversation, or why she had let me sleep, (Maybe she thought I was sick.) but I finally realized that I had literally slept all day. My natural rhythm was out of whack for days.

The worst part was the loss of all that time. Time that I could have been doing what kids my age did. Playing with my dogs, gerbils and Barbie dolls, riding my bike and reading my library books. It felt like time had sped up, and gone on without me.

Time Will Speed Up In The Last Days.

There is coming a time, and I believe it has already begun, when the length of days will be shortened because of God’s grace to His Church. Such difficult and evil times will come upon the world, that even the Church will be at great peril of being lost but for this gift of grace.

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22)

“For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.” (Mark 13:19-20)

The Dog Days of Summer Are Gone.

Remember when you were a child how summer days just went on and on? When kids and dogs had nothing better to do than hang out, just beating the day’s heat with a cool glass of lemonade and the swish of a tail.

I use to think that it was just the mark of childhood. As my own kids were growing up, however, I noticed that they began to exclaim that Christmas or their birthday had come around very fast. They just couldn’t believe another year had gone by. When I was a kid, it seemed a lifetime between Christmases and birthdays.

I don’t believe this speeding up of days is my imagination. Nor is it the imagined result of growing older with adult responsibilities. I am convinced that the days are literally being fast forwarded through.

Length Versus Number

Some believe that the actual number of days in the endtime will be shortened. I cannot believe this to be true because scripture gives us a very set timeline to gauge when we are living.

“And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” (Daniel 12:11)

On the contrary, scripture very specifically tells of a time that the length of our days and nights would be shortened by one third. I believe that time has begun.

“And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.” (Revelation 8:12)

What Will We Do With Our Days?

Considering that we are all Sheltering In Place, and knowing that our days are shorter than ever, how will we spend them? We are limited from doing some things, but are they things that really matter to the Kingdom?

If we are going to be proactive for the cause of Christ, now is the time. For the time being we can still reach out over the internet and all venues electronic to be a witness. We can write, call, text, video teach, and of course, there’s never been a better time to pray like we have never prayed before. Jesus, Himself, said…

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” (John 9:4)

THE BEAR AND THE LEOPARD (Daniel 7, Part 2)

Endtime prophecy is filled with IMAGERY and SYMBOLISM. This can frighten people, or cause them to feel like endtime prophecy cannot be understood. God doesn’t want you to be frightened. He wants you to be informed. It is His will that we understand His Word as it applies to the time we are living in.


As we continue our study of Daniel 7, let’s remember that the “beasts” in Daniel’s dream were not actually living creatures, but were SYMBOLS depicting nations, along with their leaders. Many times, if we continue to read, scripture actually explains itself. We find the interpretation of the beasts in the following verses:


“I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.” (Daniel 7:16-17)


“Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.” (Daniel 7:23)


RELEVANT SYMBOLS

When God chose animals to symbolize endtime nations and their kings in prophecy, He chose symbols that would be recognizable and relevant to the people living in the endtime. Knowing this, it makes perfect sense that He would choose the animals that He did.


THE LION WITH EAGLE’S WINGS

The first beast that Daniel saw was a lion with eagle’s wings. In my previous post, IS AMERICA IN YOUR BIBLE? Daniel 7, Part 1: http://www.patvick.com/america-in-your-bible-daniel-7-part-1/, we identified this beast as GREAT BRITAIN and the wings that were plucked as the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Both of these animals are recognized as the national symbols for these two nations.


“And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.” (Daniel 7:3-4)


THE BEAR

It is also well known that the bear is often associated with the nation of RUSSIA. In many political images, you will see Russia depicted as and spoken of as the Russian Bear.


I cannot say specifically what the three ribs in the bear’s mouth represent, although they are most likely territories that Russia has taken control of by force. When we read or watch the news on any given day, it is clear that Russia has a ravenous appetite for territory and control, and has shown itself willing to go to great lengths of military force to acquire more and more.


“And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.” (Daniel 7:5)


THE LEOPARD

In modern times, the leopard has been associated with the nation of GERMANY. The Leopard Tank was designed by Germany, and is the main battle tank of the nation’s military. The leopard in Daniel 7 has four heads. These four heads symbolize the three previous times Germany has risen to power, or what we know as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd “Reichs,” as well as the fourth, which the nation is now experiencing.

“After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.” (Daniel 7:6)


HOW IS THIS INFORMATION RELEVANT?

You might be wondering why knowing what nations are represented by these animals is important in the grand scheme of things? How does it affect your every day life?


The United States Of America is only 243 years old. It is only in these last 243 years of 6,000 years of human history that this prophecy could even come to pass. This means we are living, at this moment, in the endtime. With Great Britain, the U.S., Russia, and Germany very prominent on the world scene, endtime prophecy isn’t for some time in the future. It is for our lives today.
